Keith Magruder, aka Baker's Son, is a watercolor artist working in Los Angeles. Enrolled in art school since the second grade, Keith graduated California College of the Arts, San Francisco in 2008. Keith creates primarily in watercolor, both painting and sculpting. His dedication to realism is to draw back faded childhood memories and emotions. Baker's Son has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including the 2016 Break Bread exhibition at Think Tank Gallery in Los Angeles, the 2016 RFK Mural Festival in Los Angeles, and at the 2017 Museum of Ice Cream in Los Angeles. In 2018, Keith exhibited at Hidden Rooms, Art At The Rendon, Los Angeles, and in 2019, showcased his art at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Japan. By sharing his nostalgia, he hopes to transport his viewers back to simpler times, or inspire them to find beauty in everyday moments of their lives, and to appreciate the small details that make our memories.
